What is NDA Exam

The NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year for admission and selection of candidates to the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy (INA), serving as a gateway to careers in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. 

Successful candidates are trained at the NDA and INA for three years before being commissioned into the Army, Navy, or Air Force. 

Eligibility for NDA

  • To be eligible for the NDA Exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • Candidates must be between 5 and 19.5 years of age.
  • Candidates must have completed their +2 education from a recognized board or university.
  • Maths not compulsory for ARMY branch

Selection Process For NDA

The selection process involves a written exam followed by an SSB (Services Selection Board) interview. 

Written Examination

The written examination consists of two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). Both papers are objective type and are conducted on the same day. The Mathematics paper evaluates the candidates' mathematical aptitude, while the GAT paper assesses their English language proficiency, general knowledge, and reasoning abilities.

Services Selection Board Interview

Candidates who qualify in the written examination are called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. The SSB interview consists of various stages, including intelligence and personality tests, group discussions, psychological tests, and personal interviews.

About the Program

NDA + 11th & 12th (CBSC Pattern) Proper School within campus (In Campus Hostel, Food, Physical Activity +Sports )

We are now introducing our FOUDATION COURSE- For class 10th pass out students. A fully residential 2.6 years program, wherein, we will provide the student with school studies for class 11th and 12th as per CBSE curriculum. There will be rigorous classes for NDA preparation, proper doubts session, physical activities and training and most importantly focus on English, personality development and how to develop officer like qualities.

Eligiblity

Students who have clear class 10th and are willing to take science with mathes in class 11th are eligible for coaching at LMFDA.
Maximum age limit to join -16.5 years

The student undergoing coaching at LMFDA will have unlimited carrier opportunities. His primary goal to join NDA is his primary opportunity, however, LMFDA will prepare him to excel in his board exams, crack IIT Jee exam and Other competitive exams.

  • Medical fitness certificate and Eye sight certificate
Medical Requirements

  • The student should be medically fit. He should not have any physical defects or disease. Obese and underweight students will have to work extra hard to reach the level subscribed.
  • Minor ailments such as Wax (Ears), Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS), Hydrocele / Phimosis, Overweight / underweight, under sized chest, piles, Gynaeomastia, Tonsillities, Varicocele should be rectified before joining the campus.
  • A MEDICAL CERTIFICATE is to be presented before joining the school. Certificate from a registered Defencedoctor will be preferred. The parents are advised not to hide any ailments as it will affect the student’s career prospect.
